ElastaLink provides nationwide Internet access, partnering with major national carriers and leveraging their physical network infrastructure. These multiple partnerships give you added redundancy. Each client location is connected to our data centres, and from there to multiple internet backbones. Furthermore, each connection is dedicated and private, fully managed and monitored by us.

Dedicated internet access with premium SLA’s. 

Wired connections are available from DSL/FTTN with up to 50Mb download for small sites, to fibre with 10Mb up to 1000Mb for larger sites. Wireless LTE is available and is best suited for mobile locations or as a backup connection. All connections, including wireless accesses, are delivered as private connections to our data centre. If an access fails at one location, the backup connection will be seamlessly activated while critical traffic is rerouted. This ensures business continuity in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Connection Types

Redundancy

Maintaining a constant connection is critical for businesses of every size. With our unique solution, we can provide redundancy on several levels. We can install a single or dual(redundant) end device for your service delivery. The device offers optional backup power supply and built-in UPS/battery allowing for graceful shutdown in case of power outage with no data loss. 
With our redundant data centres, the device can be connected to a different one geographically, over a primary connection that can seamlessly failover to our backup connection, while still maintaining established connections and static IP addresses for no interruptions. Data centres themselves offer another layer of redundancy with connectivity to a diverse backbone and internet transit carriers.

Monitoring, Notification and Management (MNM)

We provide fully managed service with monitoring, Notification and Management of the connections at every one of your sites. With continuous monitoring of each connection, support notifications are automatically created in case issues such as loss of connection or unusual bandwidth usage occurs. This allows us to respond immediately, even before significant impacts to your business. The tools are also able to generate monthly usage reports, providing you with an understanding of network utilization and allowing you to do proactive capacity planning ensuring all your sites have sufficient bandwidth provisioned.

MPLS

Benefits of MPLS, like sub millisecond rerouting, traffic prioritization and low latency of any to any connectivity have been known for a long time. By partnering with leading national carriers, we utilize MPLS in the network core.This will ensure low latency of connections to our data center and add to the already extensive redundancy of our internet connections. All our connections are monitored and managed internet connection with class of service and traffic prioritization.

Security

Traditionally, businesses have deployed a separate firewall to secure their internet connection. With increased available bandwidth and an ever-increasing number of hacking and malware attacks, local firewalls may not have enough CPU and memory resources so that and while handling attacks, they may also drop legitimate traffic, causing short network outages. To address these issues, we provide a hosted firewall in addition to the local security offered by the firewall within our customer site device. Hosted firewall will ensure large amount of attacks will be blocked in our data center before they reach your site. This approach will keep your internet connection “clean” and provide better bandwidth utilization.

IPv6

IPv6 offers a potential to build a much more powerful Internet, with vastly larger scale than what we have today. With no more available IPv4 addresses, organizations must start IPv6 deployment to benefit from more efficient routing and packet processing. IPv6 allows for elimination of Network Address Translation (NAT) allowing for the true end-to-end connectivity at the IP layer and enabling new value-add services. Peer-to-peer networks are easier to create and maintain, and services such as Internet of Things (IoT) and VoIP with Quality of Service (QoS) become more robust. With our internet offering ElastaLink can deliver full stack of Ipv4 and IPv6 addressing with any type of connection.
